Occupational Therapist Rachel Thibealt Receives Order of Canada

Rachel Thibeault was appointed Officer of the Order of Canada for expanding the boundaries of Occupational Therapy and advocacy on behalf of people with disabilities, by His Excellency the Right Honorable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada.

She was appointed "for expanding the boundaries of occupational therapy and advocacy on behalf of people with disabilities".

Established in 1967, the Order of Canada, one of Canada's highest civilian honors, recognizes a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to community and service to the nation. For more information on the list of recipients, with short citations, click here.
