A Challenge from OT Works!

Fellow OTs and rehab professionals…

OT Works! challenges you to try a new activity and show off your spirit and fitness at the Community Corporate Rowing Challenge (CCRC) in Deep Cove on Saturday, June 8, 2013!

Teams of 5 coworkers/friends (including at least one woman) can sign up for a CCRC program, which is designed for both new and experienced rowers. If you’re a beginner, you’ll learn the basics of rowing, and how to compete in your first regatta. If you’re a rowing veteran, you’ll have the opportunity to fine-tune your technique and improve your boat speed.

Each team is guaranteed two races at the championship regatta (weather permitting) and top placements will be awarded trophies, medals and ribbons.

The Inlet Rowing Club, at Rocky Point in Port Moody, offers practices twice per week (at various times) from April 22 to June 8, at a cost of $1470 per team. If you’re interested in showing off your stuff, or just seeing what it’s like to hit the water, you can ask questions or register by contacting Sonja Lonne at secretary@inletrowingclub.ca. Delta Deas, Deep Cove and Vancouver Rowing Clubs also offer similar programs.

So don’t let OT Works! show you up! See you there…
