As part of a national knowledge translation project surrounding the issue of elder abuse, CAOT hosted trainer workshops on Building Capacity for Managing Situations of Elder Abuse Among Interprofessional Health Care Providers.
Working with BC-based trainers, CAOT-BC will be organizing:
"Strategies for Inter-Professional Health Care Providers to Adress Elder Abuse/Mistreatment"
workshops around the province over the course of 2014. Keep an eye out for dates/times/locations in upcoming blog posts and e-News.
This project has been built upon the elder abuse awareness initiative lead by CAOT (2009-2012)- funded by HRSDC; however, the workshop will be useful to all health care providers.
