CAOT-BC has received a communication from Superintendent Sam MacLeod, Office of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles regarding impending changes to the Motor Vehicle Act.
These changes will repeal the authority to issue exemptions from British Columbia's seat belt requirements for both drivers and vehicle passengers age 9 or older. These changes will take effect on February 26, 2014.
