Topic:
Beginning
January 1st 2015, home medical equipment dealers across BC will begin collecting a Home/Facility
Trial Deposit when providing certain types of evaluation equipment. The deposit
will be collected from customers paying for equipment themselves or through a
private insurance plan. The trial deposit will be applied toward the purchase
cost of equipment obtained from that member dealer when equipment is purchased
(resulting in no additional fee). Should the client wish to obtain equipment
from a different supplier, this non-refundable deposit will compensate the
original dealer for their time and effort in producing the original equipment
specification. Please join us for this upcoming webinar where members from the
Home Medical Equipment Dealers Association of BC will explain how this new
procedure will work and answer any questions you might have.
