Resource for your Practice: Vancouver Adapted Music Society

The Vancouver Adapted Music Society (VAMS) was co-founded in 1988 by two Vancouver musicians with tetraplegia, with the purpose of making music accessible to people with disabilities. VAMS supports musicians of all abilities through various programs and an accessible recording space.

Programs and events offered by VAMS include:
  • A community choir
  • Concerts, shows and festivals
  • Informal jam sessions at GF Strong
  • Recordings and music videos of featured artists
  • A fully accessible recording studio at GF Strong
