It is that time of year again! This year marks the 10th anniversary of
the Annual Capstone Conference, with the theme of “Lifelong Empowerment.” The
UBC Master of Occupational Therapy class of 2015 will be presenting their
research on Wednesday July 29th, 2015 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at The Centre
for Interactive Research and Sustainability. It will be an exciting and
inspiring day filled with 26 student presentations of the most current
Occupational Therapy related research, as well as speeches by keynote speaker
Dr. Karen Hammel, guest speaker Min Trevor Kyi and a faculty address by Dr.
Catherine Backman.
We invite you to come support the UBC Master of Occupational Therapy
class of 2015 while attending presentations on a variety of relevant topics,
mingling with other professionals and getting to know the faces of the entry
level clinicians. Lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attend the
conference. Please visit www.capstoneconference.ca to register and for more details about the conference
and the research projects.
We would be delighted if you join us as we place the final capstone on
our journey towards becoming Occupational Therapists. We look forward to seeing
you there!
With warm and excited regards,
The UBC Master of Occupational Therapy class of 2015
