Update from ICBC: Information on Changes to Auto Insurance in BC


Learning resources coming soon

Starting March 2019, ICBC will provide learning resources to ensure you are fully aware of the changes around reporting, invoicing, the care and recovery process, and information regarding the role of Registered Care Advisor. Keep an eye for further communications from CAOT-BC and on the ICBC Business Partners page which can be accessed via the top banner on icbc.com.

Regulations announced

On November 9, 2018, government released regulations which put in place the supporting details to increase the number and types of preapproved treatments, updated fees for health care practitioners and the legal definition of a minor injury subject to the limit on pain and suffering. ICBC Business Partners page upgrade

On December 13, 2018, ICBC upgraded its Business Partners page. In order for you to realize the benefits of the upgraded page, and take advantage of future functionality, the following free browsers are required to support the new page: Chrome (version 68 or newer), Safari (version 11 or newer), Internet Explorer (version 11 or newer), Edge (version 40 or newer), Firefox (version 61 or newer), Safari for iOS, and Chrome for Android.
