Update to telehealth coverage for OT from Pacific Blue Cross

 As of April 27, 2020, members can now submit claims for telehealth services to Pacific Blue Cross for those plans with eligible occupational therapy benefits. Please note that benefits vary from plan to plan and plan members should verify their benefits coverage for telehealth services.

Please note the following requirements:

• Occupational therapy services must meet all regulations as outlined by the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia, whether services are provided in-person or via telehealth.  
• Telehealth services will be available to Pacific Blue Cross members with occupational therapy benefits until June 24, 2020, without precedence.
• Pacific Blue Cross will issue an updated statement to outline future benefit coverage options after the initial coverage period has expired.
• All receipts issued must include “Telehealth” for applicable services.
