What you are talking abOuT...
In this month's edition of What you are talking abOuT, it is all about Conference 2013 feedback. Here is a sample of what you liked most about Conference:
- "I
always love the networking, and there is time for that. Keep that.
I like the informal lunches in the exhibitor's hall, which also promotes
staying in the hall. Lots of variety of topics, which was great. The O/S stream is great -- make this an
annual event. Thanks for all your work organizing the conference"
- "The
dancing session was a highlight!"
- "I
loved the opportunity to network at this conference. There was a great blend of presentation
content and academic levels"
- "I
like the variety of topics - wish I could have attended all of the sessions"
- "It
was a great event to meet other professionals and discuss experiences and
ideas. Also, I appreciated the opportunity to discover different things that
are being done in the world of OT that I wasn't aware of"
- "Interesting
topics this year - I appreciate the inclusion of provocative topics i.e.
assisted suicide"
- "The
easy flow between sessions. I thought it
would be a mad house but it was anything but"
- "Enthusiasm
of staff and presenters. Opportunities to network. Chance to explore a new
city"
- "I
liked that presentations for similar areas of practice were spread over all the
days so it was fairly easy to attend many things in the same area of practice
over the whole conference. Enjoyed the
COTF silent auction!"
- "Opportunity
to connect with people from across the country"
