Win an Apple iPad! Renew your CAOT-BC membership before October 1, 2012

To begin, CAOT-BC would like to thank all of our members for the support you have given the organization since it's inception on October 1, 2011. From the Transition Committee, to the special interest groups and to the incoming Advisory Committee, support from occupational therapists across the province has been incredible over the past 6 months.

There has been a steady growth in our membership over the past year and we would like to grow even further. CAOT-BC represents approximately 50% of the occupational therapists in British Columbia. Information from the College of Occupational Therapists of BC tells us that there were 1935 registered occupational therapists in BC as of June 30, 2011. Just imagine how much stronger our voice would be if we reached even more occupational therapists!

While we are counting on your continued support, we are asking that you share your support of your professional association to promote becoming a member of CAOT-BC. How can you help us grow and strengthen our voice in BC?

  • You will soon receive a package from CAOT with details about membership and member benefits to support your practice and advance our profession. Please share this information with your colleagues and co-workers
  • Remember that membership in CAOT-BC provides you with all the benefits from the national organization as well as BC specific representation and advocacy
  • New member? If someone has never been a member of CAOT they may be eligible to receive a special first time discounted membership
  • Tell your colleagues about this blog. Registration is free and open to anyone
  • Don't forget to complete your own registration online before October 1, 2012 in order to be eligible to win an iPad (contest details)
Working together, we can do more. Working together, the voice of occupational therapy in BC is louder and stronger. Working together, we are CAOT-BC.

-Giovanna
