Topic editors evaluate articles for publication, provide constructive feedback to authors, and help solicit articles. A full role description and "frequently asked questions" can be found below. Two topic editors may share a topic space if required, and ability to review in French is an asset.

In addition, OT Now is seeking your response to a very short survey on your use of economic evidence. The survey closes December 22, 2017. These anonymous findings will be included in an editorial piece by the guest editors of this special issue.

OT Now Call for Papers: "Get Prepared!"

OT Now is accepting submissions for a Special Issue: "Get Prepared!"

Life presents itself with many transitions and stressors, some planned (e.g., starting school) and some unanticipated (e.g., car accident). It is important to prepare for these events, as much as possible, to minimize the occupational disruption that can result from them. Being prepared empowers individuals/groups and builds resilience, which can be defined as “the ability of people, communities, countries, and systems to mitigate, adapt to, and recover from shocks and stresses” (USAID, 2015, p.1). Occupational therapists can play an important role in preparedness - for clients, themselves, and their own careers. This special issue of OT Now will explore the role of occupational therapists in the realm of preparedness.

Occupational Therapy Now- Special Issue

Occupational Therapy Now will be publishing a special advocacy issue on Occupational Therapy in Primary Health Care in September, 2013. This issue will be distributed to politicians, professional associations and other stakeholders and provides an opportunity to share the important role of occupational therapists in primary health care.

Articles may be submitted in French or English and are due by April 1^st.
