This can be a hospital setting, medicine, ortho, acute care, or mental health. If you are interested in learning more about this position, click here. New Practice Network Coming to CAOT

CAOT is in the process of developing a new practice network to meet the growing need for a space for private practice OTs to come together to engage in clinical practice focused meetings.

The network will be called the Private Practice Clinical Network, with the purpose being to create a supportive community for OTs working in private practice to share information about assessments and interventions used in a clinical setting and to enable collaborative problem solving.

We are looking to invite those who are working in private practice and whom are interested in becoming part of this developing network to let us know. Once we hear back from those interested, we will be hosting a meeting with the core group to establish the network, the terms of reference, and to determine the co-chairs.

Please email us at hreid@caot.ca by August 9th if you are interested in:

  • Being considered for a position as co-chair

  • Being a core group member to pilot the network and get it off the ground before opening it up to more membership from across Canada.
