Most main stream technology is designed to be used by individuals with the full use of their hands, leaving people with a variety of disabilities unable to access technology in a typical way. This presentation will explore the concept of Access as it applies to technology.  The difference between direct and indirect access will be explained as well as options for how devices such as TV remote controls and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices can be used by people with decreased upper extremity function.
