Career Opportunity: UBC Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy

The University of British Columbia Vancouver, Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy invites applications for a part-time (0.6FTE) position at the rank of Lecturer.

Join a stellar academic community and contribute to developing the next generation of occupational therapists. Duties include teaching both theory and clinical practice skills courses (lecturing, tutorial facilitation, laboratory sessions, and online learning tools), course planning and leadership, coordination of clinic visits, curriculum development, marking, and student evaluation in the Master of Occupational Therapy Program.

The incumbent will participate in administrative and service activities, such as departmental and university committees.

The successful applicant must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC) be a member of CAOT-BC, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, and teaching experience in clinical, continuing education or academic settings. Salary will be commensurate with level of educational preparation and experience. 

Initial appointment is for one year, with intent for ongoing annual renewal based on satisfactory performance and final budgetary approval.
