"Breaking the Bad News", Briana Zur

After many years working in private practice in the community and mostly in the field of geriatrics and dementia assessment and management, Briana  returned to graduate school and  completed her doctoral studies in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (Occupational Science), focusing on the assessment of cognitive competence in people with cognitive impairment.  Dr. Zur is currently working with Dr. Brenda Vrkljan of McMaster University on a project focusing on developing capacity in occupational therapy training for evaluating medically at-risk drivers in Ontario.  She is also a designated Capacity Assessor for the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario.
