Effective April 1, the 2016 Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators (CCMTA) Medical Standards for Drivers with BC Specific Guidelines (2016 BC Guide) has replaced the 2010 BC Guide in Determining Fitness to Drive.

The 2016 BC Guide is intended for use by medical practitioners in assessing driver fitness, and is used by RoadSafety BC to determine driver licence status.

The full 2016 BC Guide as well as a key messages document is available here.

The College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia has also provided an update which can be read here
