OT in the News: Boxing to Combat Parkinson’s Symptoms

Rock Steady Boxing classes are now being offered at Zhoosh Fitness Garage in New Westminster by certified trainer Robyn Murrell. Aimed at improving range of motion, balance and hand-eye coordination for people with Parkinson’s disease, class components include stretching, running, jump rope and non-contact boxing.

Rock Steady Boxing classes, taught by occupational therapist Allie Saks, are also coming to Seacity Fitness in Vancouver.
