A message from ICBC to OT Service Providers:
ICBC is making changes
as part of our commitment to continuously improve services that support
business partners like you.
In April we launched a
new process to streamline the way our service providers submit their invoices
and reports. The first groups to
participate provided feedback that allowed us to make important adjustments and
improvements to our procedures. Our plan
is to expand this process to occupational therapists, but first we need to
address your requirement to password-protect reports. We are considering TLS secured tunnels,
however, in order to move forward we are enlisting your assistance to provide
us with your email address and one IT contact name per organization.
We also plan to align
the advanced skill set of the OT with the requirements of the HDP
customer. Please review the list below
and send us an email identifying which categories you, or individual
occupational therapists in your organization, have experience in supporting:
• Paraplegia
• Quadriplegia
• Head injuries with positive
neurological
findings
• Amputees
• Brachial plexus
• Deafness
• Blindness
• Orthopaedic injuries or other
permanent
injuries that require vocational training
• Infants—with severe injuries
• Geriatrics—with severe injuries
To submit the
requested information, please follow these guidelines:
1. Respond by: December 19, 2016
2. Send to: occupational.therapists@icbc.com
3. Subject line: OT Email & Skill Set
Information
Your reply to ICBC
should include the following:
-Your email address
-The name of one IT contact per
organization
-OT name followed by a list
identifying advanced skill set/experience categories
The tentative
implementation date for the streamlined invoice and reporting process is early
February 2017. Submissions received
after December 19th will be processed based on resource capacity at the time of
receipt.
We appreciate your
assistance, and look forward to sharing more details as we get closer to
introducing these enhancements.
