Growing up with CP: Mental health &
well-being

This free webinar, offered by The Childhood
Cerebral Palsy Integrated Neuroscience Discovery Network (CP-NET), will explore
the intersection of mental health and cerebral palsy, by highlighting the lived
experience and research from the CP-NET MyStory project. The MyStory project
studies the physical health, mental health, chronic stress, and overall
well-being of adolescents and young adults with cerebral palsy.
This webinar was created and will be run by
young adults for young adults, and will explore how young people can be better
supported in developing positive outcomes in mental health and well-being. It
will also be informative and educational for parents and health professionals,
who are looking to better understand the experience of living with cerebral
palsy and the implications this can have on a young person’s mental health.
