CAOT-BC's Networking & Education Day is coming back to Vancouver in February, 2018.
Featuring:
- SafeTALK: Half-day alertness training that prepares anyone, regardless or prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper.
- Employment Law & Human Rights Primer: A review of disability, duty to accommodate as well as employer/employee obligations in the accommodation process
- Accountability: The Heart of Professional Practice: Kathy Corbett, COTBC Registrar and CEO will reinforce key principles of professional accountability and application of COTBC standards of practice to support safe, ethical and quality practice. Approaches to improve practice and avoiding pitfalls will also be explored.
