Resource for your Practice: Centre for Clinical Interventions

In early March, at the CAOT Level 1 Workshop: Integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into Occupational Therapy Practice, presenter Gord Hirano provided a free resource for practice from the Centre for Clinical Interventions.

Select Workbooks and you’ll find PDF modules based in CBT covering topics such as:

• Assert Yourself!
• Build Body Awareness
• Panic Stations
• Shy No Longer

Occupational therapists can guide a client through the modules or present the workbooks as a resource to direct independent self-exploration. Many of the modules include a self-reflection section or homework assignment. If appropriate, the modules themselves can be homework assignments for CBT-based intervention!
