Description: The goal of our presentation is too look at a broader spectrum of factors that influence the prescription of air cushions over gel cushions. It is a well known fact that air cushions are the best option for redistributing pressure for clients, but in certain scenarios, the need for higher maintenance and support can lead them to cause more issues for clients. We will discuss the factors that may lead a client to have a negative experience with air cushions, and recommend best practices to maintain them as well. This presentation will also review our recommended cushions using both air and gel materials, and review their applications, benefits and maintenance required.
