World Occupational Therapy Day 2018: Celebrating our global community

October 27 is World Occupational Therapy Day, and this year’s theme is: “Celebrating our global community.”

Here are a few ways you can take part in this important day for occupational therapy:

• Join the WFOT Virtual Exchange (#WFOTVX) a series of one hour webinars hosted in different time zones throughout 2018 and 2019. Also be available to download as a podcast.
• Participate in the OT Global Day of Service, a day of volunteered community service by occupational therapy practitioners and students.
• Check out the WFOT Guide to World Occupational Therapy Day 2018– A useful resource to help you plan and organize the event together with links to exclusive promotional offers. 
• Download the World Occupational Therapy Day 2018 official logo, posters, social media pack and desktop calendar – use these to spread the word about World Occupational Therapy Day!
• Join the Occupational Therapy International Online Network (OTION) and connect with people around the world to share news and ideas about World Occupational Therapy Day.
