Presenter: John Cazander has been in the healthcare industry as a caregiver, life coach, mentor, consultant, home care & day program provider. He witnessed clients as well as colleagues experiencing high-stress levels, or burned out due to compassion or work fatigue. His own fight with complex
compassion fatigue, PTSD and burnout cycle, John reached a stage where he contemplated taking his own life. This life experience, as an observer, a mentor and as a survivor, gave John a unique insight into the burnout process and how it can affect a person’s life. Since 2015 he has been helping healthcare professionals, organizations how to lower stress levels, build
resilience in the workplace, and find effective self-care strategies, or implement strategies to improve best practices programs and systems.
