Dear Occupational Therapist,
Have you been a preceptor for
occupational therapy students? Have any of them had accommodations for
disability? How did this work out – for you, for them, for clients? I’d love to
talk with you about your experiences! My name is Jen Davis and I am a graduate
student at Dalhousie University. I am conducting a research study as part of
the requirements of the Master’s of Science (Post-Professional) in Occupational
Therapy and I would like to invite you to participate. The purpose of this
study is to understand more about the experiences and challenges of
occupational therapists who have been a clinical preceptor to one or more
occupational therapy students who have had academic accommodations due to a
disability. Participation in my study requires about 45-60 minutes for a
telephone interview. Please contact me if you are interested in participating:
I would love to talk to you!
