This in-depth workshop for mental health conditions emphasizes current evidenced based research and practice, objective assessment tools; uses clinical case studies, video, small group discussion and clinical reasoning activities. Many factors influence mental health including trauma/PTSD, anxiety, fear avoidance-panic, depression, addictions, personality traits, coping styles, chronic health conditions, brain injury, physical injury, workplace influences, cultural and family influences. Occupational Therapists are unique as the only health care professional that brings the whole person integrated approach.
