In June, CAOT-BC presented to the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services in a public consultation for the 2020 Budget.
The unanimous report was released last week, and includes several references to occupational therapy, including recommendations to (1) ensure local training opportunities and reduce barriers for underrepresented groups including occupational therapy and (2) increase funding for all early intervention services to ensure timely access to critical services, including occupational therapy.
