Announcement from the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program

Health Professional Consultation Services required for the Medical Supply and Equipment Review Centre

The Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program provides coverage to registered First Nations and recognized Inuit for a range of medically necessary items and services when these benefits are not provided through other public programs or private health benefit plans. The NIHB Program provides coverage for prescription drugs, over-the-counter medication, medical supplies and equipment (MS&E), mental health counselling, dental care, vision care, and medical transportation. Information about the NIHB Program can be found at www.canada.ca/NIHB. 

The NIHB Medical Supply and Equipment Review Centre is seeking Occupational Therapists interested in offering advisory services to the NIHB program.
