Upcoming UBC OT Fieldwork Educator Workshops

The fieldwork education workshop is a full day dedicated to discussing the issues of educating students. This workshop is for therapists who have not educated a student before as well as seasoned fieldwork educators looking to update and validate problem-solving skills to meet the challenges of clinical education.Topics include:

• a review of the current academic curriculum,
• expectations for each level of student,
• preparation and planning for student placements,
• writing learning objectives,
• learning styles, and teaching techniques
• providing effective feedback,
• the formal evaluation
