Highlights from BC Board Director Donna Drynan

The Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (Board) met in Ottawa on Saturday, November 15, 2019 and Sunday, November 16, 2019. 

Financial decisions:

• The Board approved the 2019-2020 financial statement of operations
• A Face to Face meeting of CAOT’s Truth and Reconciliation Task Force will be held to complete its Action Plan
• Funds were allocated to the Public Awareness Campaign as part of the Strategic Plan 2019-2022

Truth and Reconciliation:

• The TRC Action Preliminary Plan report was received

Accreditation Program:

• The Board approved changes to OTA/PTA education accreditation programs
