CAOT-BC and student representatives were at the
International Seating Symposium in Vancouver last week, promoting the role of
occupational therapy in seating and positioning. We connected with OTs and seating specialists from
Canada and the US, and shared resources for practice and membership benefits,
such as CAOT publications
Managing director Tanya Fawkes-Kirby also
connected directly with stakeholders at the Home Medical Equipment Dealers
Association (HMEDA) AGM on Thurs evening, presenting highlights and priorities for 2019/2020, including CAOT-BC’s
ongoing work with government and others to ensure that clients have access to
the care and equipment they need.
