CAOT-BC at the International Seating Symposium

CAOT-BC and student representatives were at the International Seating Symposium in Vancouver last week, promoting the role of occupational therapy in seating and positioning. We connected with OTs and seating specialists from Canada and the US, and shared resources for practice and membership benefits, such as CAOT publications

Managing director Tanya Fawkes-Kirby also connected directly with stakeholders at the Home Medical Equipment Dealers Association (HMEDA) AGM on Thurs evening, presenting highlights and priorities for 2019/2020, including CAOT-BC’s ongoing work with government and others to ensure that clients have access to the care and equipment they need.
