Update from ICBC



UPDATE | Submitting prorated telehealth invoices
The Telehealth Invoicing FAQ has been updated with instructions on how to invoice ICBC for prorated telehealth sessions. Retroactive billing for prorated telehealth sessions will be accepted for sessions administered on or after April 1, 2020 only. Please do not submit an invoice more than once unless specifically requested by ICBC. 

NEW | Duplicate invoice rejections
Prior to submitting an invoice via the HCPIR application, please confirm that the invoice has not previously been submitted or paid. Effective April 27, 2020; all duplicate invoices submitted via the HCPIR will be automatically rejected. As the HCPIR does not have the capability of two way communication, you will not receive a notification of rejection in this circumstance.

Tips to improve timeliness of your payment:
  • Including a valid PHN on your invoice submission can help improve the timeliness of your payment by matching your invoice submission;
  • Do not submit an invoice more than once unless specifically requested by ICBC.
