August 21, 2012 (Vancouver)- In follow-up to the Health Sciences Association of BC Professional Associations meeting held in June 2012, Managing Director Giovanna Boniface, met with HSA president Reid Johnson. HSA is a union that represents more than 16,000 health care and social services professionals at over 250 facilities and agencies across the province. HSA represents over 950 occupational therapists across the province.
Topics included organizational changes across various facilities, changes in scope of practice, health human resource planning, provincial lobbying efforts, facilitating fieldwork opportunities and other areas of partnership and collaboration.
