CJOT receives an Impact Factor

 CAOT-BC is excited to announce that the Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy (CJOT) is now included among the Thomson Reuter’s products and services. Starting with V. 76 (1) 2009, CJOT contents are now indexed and abstracted in:

• Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as SciSearch®)
• Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition
• Social Sciences Citation Index®
• Journal Citation Reports/ Social Sciences Edition
• Current Contents®/Social and Behavioral Sciences
• Current Contents®/Clinical Medicine

CJOT now has an IMPACT FACTOR: according to the 2011 Journal Citation Reports, CJOT’s Journal Impact Factor of 0.908.

The Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy was first published in September 1933. Since that time, it has fostered advancement and growth of research, theory and practice in occupational therapy. The mission of the journal is to advance excellence in occupational therapy research that informs education, practice and policy. The vision is to influence occupational therapy globally. Consistent with its mission and vision, the principal content of the journal is full-length empirical papers across the full range of methodologies (e.g., outcomes research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, qualitative inquiries, psychometric research & policy analysis). Articles are published in the language of submission, with an abstract in French and English.
