OT in the News: Sisters from Syria Face a New Set of Challenges Living in BC

Hoda and Maha Al-Sidawi recently immigrated to Canada from Syria. The sisters have a neurological condition which causes severe muscle weakness, and are facing a host of challenges living in their inaccessible apartment in Metro Vancouver.  

Abbotsford occupational therapist Jeff Mah speaks to the Vancouver Sun about the institutional barriers affecting Syrian refugees living in BC.
