Resource for Families with Children with Complex Care Needs

The BC Centre for Ability will be running Camp Alexandra, a summer camp for children with complex medical conditions this summer.

What is it?
  • Overnight camp
  • Six children, with five counsellors and one full time nurse
  • Activities include walks along Crescent Beach and making a daily journal

When is it?
  • Monday to Friday
  • Three sessions throughout summer 2017

Who is it for?
  • Children who are: dependent for feeding, non-ambulatory, not on a ventilator, and meet one of the other criteria (see flyer for full details).
  • This is to ensure that those children who may not be able to attend another kind of camp, have the opportunity to experience this summer tradition
